Today's segment really doesn't have a key lesson I learned. Today is more about my curiosity of the future. Last week I had a pretty deep conversation with a close Friend of mine and it got me thinking.

OK as far as my social life my past couple weekends have been great. Being from NY and moving here to VA, one of the things in miss the the snow. VA gets snow just about once or twice a year, so i try to take advantage of the times and have a little fun. Of course I took my six year old sister out to play. I showed her how to make a proper snow ball..lol. Also my home girl DEE from LumpiaandPho gave me the idea of tagging the snow. Its almost the end of the first week in the year 2010 and I'm still putting 09 at the end of dates on my school work. ha haa.. Its funny thought how a new year comes and you don't feel different, but you know its time to move on to bigger and better things. Maybe that's just me, but I'm sure most of you agree.

After the day 1/1/10, many people have come to me telling me their New Year's Resolutions and asking me about mine. What I usually reply is, " I don't know." I think that people shouldn't have to wait til New Years to make a resolution in their lives. Everyone should and is able to just wake up one day and say, " Yeah. Today is the day I'm going to start ( Fill in your Resolution here )."

Basically I'm saying people should forget New Year's Resolutions and just set goals for your self and do them..ha ha.. I look back and read that and it sounds pretty cliche but its true. As far as people changing personality wise. that wont change until something really crucial happens in your life to where you're forced to change your personality. So once you hit you teenage years your personality is pretty much set for the rest of you life. You only gain maturity. Some more than others..ha haa..

So to end this little discussion Resolution are made by the goals you set in life and you should stay focused on them through out the years and not just choose a new year to start getting focused.

Ok its almost 3pm on the day after Christmas and I thought I'd make a post to show my readers that Tre.Brown is still alive.HA. But on the real I just have not been able to just sit down and blog. And for that I'd like to I'm sorry.

Now that we got that out of the way I'd like to bring up a interesting topic. I'm sure all people who have been into sneakers or street wear for the past couple of years have thought or even talked publicly about this topic. And that topic is, the fact that in 2009 there has been a over flow of Newbies claiming to be "sneaker heads" and rocking Street wear. As far as Street wear, it is officially dead and I'm not going to get in depth with that. But as far as sneakers, trainers, and kicks, all of which I ooh so love; is starting to be invaded by so-called "know-it-all's" of the game. For lack of a better term Hypebeast.

What I really want to say is what happen? What happen to a time where kids did their research on the kicks they loved and actually made kicks apart of their lives. I mean like I've been in the game Four years strong and now I'm starting to see too many kids on Nicekicks,( Definitely not saying anything bad about Nicekicks because I've actually talked to the Creator of the site and he is cool as shit.) getting amped up on kicks and then going on a fake sneaker site trying to buy them. All I can do is shake my head and keep it moving.

OK now. About this Space Jam release. Definitely the most hyped up shoe of the year. No I wasn't able to get a pair due to personal reasons. But to all those "know-it-all's" that did get a pair, all of a sudden think they got serious heat. HA!! I can go in my closet rite now and show y'all a lil somethin somethin..lol..

Wow the first week of school went by pretty quick. Honestly, I can say that this year is going to be the Sh*t.lol. Not only because its my senior year, but it is because im going to make it the sh*t. But i really learned that in this short time of school. all people be saying is, "Denbigh wack!" but its wack because everybody has no spirit so they dont try to make it fun. So this year I'm going to get involved and try to make this year as fun as possible for me and those around me.

OK now i decided that there is no need to tell yall about what happened at school everyday, because school isn't jumpin everyday. So I'm only going to post what I think is interesting. First of all, I take my driving test for my license on Monday. So that's pretty good on my part. And if I pass I get the whip the end of this month. Woop Woop!! But yea Its getting closer and closer the the party date. so be on the look out for further promotion of the upcoming party.

The line is coming along good. I got some new designs in the making.So be on the look out later this year or early 2010. All I can really say is money money money.lol.

OK now if you come to my blog on the regular yall could see that I'm a real dude. So I'm going to keep it real with yall as my viewers and vent to yall. All right now, me I'm big into gong around surfing the net the net and checking out other peoples blogs and stuff seeing how other peoples styles and lives are. But recently i have been looking at blogs from people in my generation.As in the 90's babies. OK now let me tell you whats getting on my nerves. I'm tired of young bloggers in our generation saying they want to be the next this, that and the third. If you know me personally I am not taking shots at anybody in my area.
OK if you want to get into anything, whether its getting into fashion, having a clothing line or any other profession. It is not for you to say I want to be the next so and so. I'm getting sick and tired of people saying "I want to be the next Kanye", "I Want to be the next Diggy Simmons"( and believe me there are people meat ridding diggy), or whoever it may be. I'm not hating or trying to bring you down, but as be the next generation we are suppose to reinvent.
So when you choose your profession don't aim to be that next so and so. Aim to a level where you are setting the standards for the generation after us.
Sometimes you just have to grind it out and do everything your damn self. Cause through all the money and fame you may get, your determination and hard work will get you to where you want to be. So stop aiming to be the next so and so and do you.
Yeeesh!..damn that felt good now that I typed it down.lol. But seriously I jus want yall to see how I want to conduct LCSP. Not as the Next UNDFTD, Mishka, or LRG, but I want LCSP to be in a league of its own.

Busy Busy Busy

Maaannn,the past couple days just been soo busy for me. with work and chilling with my friends. I noticed that most weekends I have something to do.lol. Which is a good thing.

Well on Friday I went to to work. Then when I got home i chilled a little bit. Later that Night my home girl Dee hit me up to chill. We talked about the upcoming party and the other thing we are planning that's going to be HUGE(of course Im not telling yall what it is just yet..lol) As far as the party here's a hint. It's going to be on October 31st. That's all you get til further notice..ha ha. Here's the fit i wore that day. Not one of my best but its chill. Comfortable.

On Saturday i went to work. Then after work I went to Jules Grandpas Cookout. It was fun. Best believe we all got down on some food. ha haa. After the cookout we stopped by the new Target where I was acting a fool.lmao

On Sunday, I had my 1st day off of the week. Jules hit me up to go to Norfolk with his sister. We hit up Military Circle and my boy Jules did a little shopping. I didn't cop nothing unfortunately, but I couldn't find sh%t.lmao. We then stopped by 711 got sum food, then went to Jules sister Dorm at NSU. After that we made our way back to the News and called it a day.

Yesterday was a pretty cool day. I thought it would have been filled with nothing, but it turned out to be pretty busy.
I went to Micheal's with my mom to get to art supplies. Me being the artist I am, bought some cool Decocolor Paint Marker( freaking cool I might add). After that i chilled in the crib for a little bit. Then me and the fam went to check out about getting a new car. Things a work out so we left. We then made our way to Golden Coral. We stayed in there til like 8. Sorry for not having pics cause I left my camera by an accident.lol. Once I got home from that. Dee hit me up to come chill with her, Hailey, and Wanda. It was crazy funny. We went to IHOP then fooled around in Walmart. Once we left Walmart, we called it a night. Check out the pics.

I'm sorry for not keeping yall updated, but recently I haven't been able to put pix up til now so a lot of this i meant to post yesterday or the day before. The name of this book is called Driven From Within: Micheal Jordan. This is probably the best book I ever read. If you really love Jordan Brand you would like this book because it goes in depth on how each Air Jordan sneaker from the I-XX was made. I was so into it I read it in one day. So if you're looking for a good read check this out.

Long's Day of Birth

Yesterday was my boy Long's Birthday. So I'm going to start off by saying big ups to you Long. As far as the day, Id say we had a bomb ass time. Hit up VA Beach, did a little shopping, played pool, went out to eat. Good times, Good times.lol. Let me give you a run through of what happened

OK, first me, Dee, and Lloyd all went to Longs house to pick him up to go to VA Beach. For his Birthday Present we got him a pair of Nike Blazer Hi SB "Trickstars" but to throw him off we had another box wrapped up with some ugly Air Force 1s. When we went into his house we gave him the box with the Air Force 1s in it. Too bad I couldn't get a pic or a video with his face, but he looked extra pissed..lmfao. So then we left his house and went to the car and there in his seat was another wrapped box. Of course the Trickstars was in that box. The video below shows his reaction.lol!!

So we made our way towards Va Beach, we were all pretty hype joking around. Then Long took the stuffed monkey that Dee had in her car and start doing this..lmfao

first we went to Platos Closet were they had almost nothing. I did see a pair of Samaris but they weren't my size. Then We seen they ugliest Pumas in our lives.lmao

After that we made our way towards Hotline. Long bought some kicks and i got this cool free button i put it on my hat..lol

Then we made our way to Lynnhaven Mall. We went o a couple stores and ate there..check out these pix.

We even found a sticker from Paper Plates Clothing in one of the photo booths..thats a good spot to tag.

We then left the mall and made our way back to the News. We all decided to play a little pool. check out this pic.

After about an hour we went over to Long's house to drop off his stuff and chill a little before we went back out to eat..here's some pics.

We then went to Cheddars were my camera eventually died.lmao. After eating we called it a night. That was a pretty fun day. I wonder what my Birthday would be like..lol. i guess we'll see.

Story 2 Tell..Vol.1

Wassup Yall I got a brand new segment. This one, as you can see, is called Story 2 Tell. This is for all those sneakerheads who have a sneaker that they own and have a crazy or funny story on how they got it.

OK now here is where the crucial info comes in. This segment is open to anybody. On the top right side of the page the will be a link saying STORY 2 TELL APPLICATION. If you have a crazy story of a sneaker you have go ahead and click that and follow the directions on how to complete the application.

To jump start the first volume I'm going to go through the direction and give you an example by giving yall a story of my own.

Whats your story? This story really isn't epic, like camping out or anything like that, but its kind of funny you can say. Well it goes back a couple months ago when my fashion class decided to make a trip to the outlet mall. My boy Nate, the dude who owned the Purple Pigeons, was already selling them but didn't get any bits on them. I always wanted a pair of Purple Pigeons but didn't want to shell out $300 at Flight Club to get a pair. So while we were at Mickey D's I asked him if he wanted to trade for them. He was like," That's cool. What you got?" I threw out a couple kicks that I wanted to get rid of but he didn't want them. Then I said he could get my Green Beans( That's the neon green and 3m material Air Jordan Vs for those of you that don't know..lol). He ended up taking my Green Beans, at first he was like I would have to give him some more money with that. But since we were at Micky D's, he said throw in a chicken burrito and we good. So basically I got my Purple Pigeon for Green Beans and a chicken burrito.lol

A Day at Old Neezy..8/6/09

Wassup homies..lol I know sounds corny, but what ever. Yesterday i came up with an idea, so I think I'm bout to in force it. I decided that no matter where I go or when, I'm going to bring my camera with me. I'm just saying, you never know when you need to take a picture of some crazy ish. lol

Now, to start on the reason of this post. Most of yall know how i work in Old Neezy, so i was like, " Hey. Why not tell the people what a typical day in Old Neezy is like for me?". So yesterday i did it. So check out the pics and i hope yall enjoy.

OK the journey begins with my 10 minute walk to the bus stop. I don't have a car of my own yet so I'm stuck to the bus. Its funny how people around here put others down for riding the bus and stuff. But when you think about it if you live in a big city you ain't going to be driving all the time. You going to be ride on that damn bus and train. I ain't going to lie, I'm going to say it out loud. I TAKE PRIDE IN RIDING THE BUS.lmao. at least til I get my car that is..lmao

Once i get to Old Neezy in Patrick Henry Mall. They confine me to the dungeon aka the fitting room.

Because it was a Thursday it can get a little slow. So I made sure I was hydrated, thanks to Taco Bell.lol. mmmm raspberry ice tea. Of course I got a refill on break. And I hit up my boy Kenny, who was also at work.

The mirrors in there are pretty sweet, so you can get some pretty good angles with the camera.
I got so bored I began drawing. The pic above is a 5 minute sketch I did. I messed up and made the face too fat. Its still pretty good for a quick sketch in pen.
Before I knew it I was taking that maker and marking the table. Luckily its a dry erase marker, so a quick spray and wipe gets the job done.

Its not full of no work. Id like to thank the ignorant customers like this lady who give me stuff to do like in the pic above. But luckily we finished cleaning the store on time and was able to leave at 9:30. I had to wait for my moms to get off work to pick me up.
